Detects when something has passed through the slot (blocks the light passed across the slot).   Red LED provides additional visual indication when a object is detected.   Gap width is 5 mm.   Requires 5 to 24 VDC ±10% (ripple (p-p)10% max.); 35 mA max consumption.   Response frequency elements: 1 kHz min. (average 3 kHz)
