VDC Power Input

Supply your Feather with nominal 12 VDC (~6 to 20 VDC) input from any source with at least 500 mA capacity (1200 mA recommended) instead of the using the Feather battery our USB connections.   This FeatherWing provides a connector for 6 to 20 VDC of input power and then it regulates it down to 5V DC at ~1 A and feeds that into the Feather voltage regulator via the Vusb pin.   A tap is also provided on this FeatherWing so you can draw off about 500 mA of power for an external device (the Feather Vusb needs 500 mA of the 1000 mA provided by this FeatherWing).
